Trinidad Benham Corporation is seeking a full-time lead .Net developer with at least 10 years of experience to support our custom ERP system in our rapidly changing and growing business. Candidate must be a strong technical leader, self-starter, fast learner and have the ability to think through complex problems and create robust designs. Our developers work in small teams and are involved in all stages of our Agile software development lifecycle. We are actively modernizing our ERP system and looking for individuals who can learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Responsibilities for this position include the following:
Work within a small team of developers to build and support complex business applications
Provide technical leadership
Investigate and prototype new technologies and designs
Lead the development of new applications and enhancements to existing applications
Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, training, and documentation
Lead and contribute to software designs
Develop specifications for junior developers
Provide estimates for work items in the backlog
Troubleshoot bugs and propose solutions.
Effectively communicate with technical and business areas.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience with the following technologies:
Unity (or any DI/IOC experience)
Task-based Asynchronous Pattern (TAP)
TFS Source Control
.Net 4.5 or newer
Visual Studio 15 or newer
N-tier business applications
C# (6 or newer preferred)
Agile Software Development processes
SQL Server and T-SQL
Microsoft Fakes (or other Mocking experience such as MOQ) and Unit Test
OOP (Object Oriented Programming) Analysis and Design skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Preferred degrees include Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics.
10+ years of focused development experience
3+ years recent technical leadership experience
Must be highly motivated, self-directed, and possess strong multitasking skills
Must have strong analytic, design, coding, testing, and documentation skills
Must be able to effectively communicate complex ideas verbally and written.
Experience working with ERP systems is desired
